The dry and raw pigments are solved with a mixture of egg yolk, water and vinegar.

Many layers of transparent media are applied over the image.

Drying time is about 2 weeks and the Icon is finalized with a home prepared hot oil.

Drying time for the oil is about 2 weeks.

Most of the Icons are size 9X12 inches. 

Some variations in antique and original wood pieces discovered.

Diverse sizes available under command.

Icons are a connection with the High Power and a path to peaceful contemplation.

 

Licia's passion for Icons started in 1999 when she studied Theology.

Licia's icons are original and don't follow canonic rules but mostly the artist's inspiration.
